Company Background
Duncan Lynch was formed in 1961 as a trade tool making company
and over the years has built a reputation with its customers for
the high quality of its work and the attention to customer care.
Our main areas of activity have been in the supply of tooling and
special equipment to various industries.We also supply specialized
ink testing equipment such as the Print
Proof Tester which is a
unique Duncan Lynch product.
We
have over
thirty
years of experience in the supply of press tooling and have
followed
a policy
of investment and expansion into other areas of activity. These
include oil and mining industries and also the motor industry where
we have supplied jigs and fixtures for major manufacturers
such as Honda, Rover, Aston Martin, Land Rover and Ford.
With the acquisition in 1994 of Sheetmets Ltd, we gained the additional
capacity for sheet metal work and
fabrication, which gives us the ability to handle major contracts
in house.
With the completion of the acquisition of Highbell
Limited in April
2005, Duncan Lynch extends its precision engineering capabilities.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Duncan Lynch, Highbell was established
21 years ago and provides precision engineering services to the aerospace,
Formula 1 motor racing, electronics and mobile telecommunications
industries.
Engineering Capabilities
We have full in house CAD/CAM facilities which enables us to reduce
the lead time from design to production for our customers, many of
whom have relied upon us for many years.
We are able to work with all kinds of material; Tool Steels, Stainless
Steel, Aluminium, Inconel, Titanium and all Plastics.
